North East Coast

Leaden Skies

Maybe it`s London, maybe it`s everywhere but dank, grey skies can follow you around in November.  That said, looking up to the heavens in the last few weeks, Hackney seems to have been blessed if only for 15 minutes or so.

Abandoned Car

Hardknott Pass is a minor road in The Lake District to the East of Ambleside and not for the faint hearted. Twenty five minutes in first and second gear with 30% inclines and descents can take it`s toll.
I guess it all got too much for this driver.

Morning

Just sometimes it`s worth answering the call of the alarm clock and and making the effort. Anyone who says getting up at an unmentionable hour is the fun bit is sadly mistaken but with no pain, there is no gain.

Skye Panoramics

A week away in the Isle of Skye usually blows away the cobwebs and is an antidote to city living. These pictures are a three frame stitch to produce a panoramic format without sacrificing quality.

Lighthouse

Lighthouse on the North East coast. I`m starting to think I need to broaden my colour palette but you get what you`re given in March.
